Whether your passion lies in community impact, public advocacy, or digital influence, these programmes will equip you with the tools, training, and networks to rise confidently into leadership and serve your community with excellence.

Public Affairs Leadership Programme
Find your voice. Influence the narrative. Make positive lasting change for British Muslims.
Designed for aspiring advocates, communicators, and public policy enthusiasts, this programme empowers you to represent and amplify Muslim voices in public life. Learn how to navigate policy, engage with decision-makers, and become an effective spokesperson for positive change.
You will:
- Build public speaking and advocacy skills
- Strengthen your understanding of policy and democracy
- Represent MCB at media, policy, and government events
- Network with leaders shaping Britain’s future policies
Ideal for: Those passionate about politics, advocacy, or community representation who want to step into the public sphere with confidence.
Digital Leadership Programme
Lead the digital galaxy. Shape the story.
Step into the fast-moving world of digital leadership — where creativity, influence, and faith converge. Learn how to create impactful content, manage campaigns, and build positive narratives that inspire communities and challenge stereotypes.
You will:
- Develop advanced digital and media skills
- Lead on online campaigns and social media initiatives
- Create content that celebrates British Muslim identity
- Work alongside MCB’s communications and digital teams
Ideal for: Creators, storytellers, and digital enthusiasts who want to use their online platforms for social good and faith-driven impact.
Programme Details
- Age Category: 18–30 years old
- Duration: January – September 2026 (9 months)
- Remuneration: Voluntary, Unpaid (travel and refreshments covered)
- Commitment: Approx. 5 hours per week
- Format: Online (via Zoom) and in-person sessions in London
- Regions: Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, North of England, Midlands, London, South, and West of England
- Applications Open: 20th November 2025
- Deadline: Sunday midnight 7th December
- Interviews: December 2025 (online)
- Launch: January 2026
