The Muslim Council of Britain today expressed its condemnation of the terrorist attacks in Sri Lanka which saw the targeting of churches and hotels.

Harun Khan, Secretary General of the Muslim Council of Britain said: “It takes a particular kind of depravity to target worshippers on their holiest days. My thoughts and prayers to the victims and their loved ones. I stand in solidarity with my Christian friends and with Sri Lankans who have been victims of terrorism in the past. I hope these criminals are brought to justice. These terrorists speak for no one but themselves.”
