In February 2017, the Express published a flat-out false article on migrants which claimed that 900 migrants carried out sex attacks in Germany’. After a complaint sent by Miqdaad Versi, MCB’s Assistant Secretary General, the Express retracted its article and rewrote it with the actual facts with an acknowledgment of their error on the complaints page. They failed to issue an apology.
