As part of the Green Up scheme, MADE in Europe, an affiliate of the MCB, are offering a fantastic opportunity for Madrasah Teachers, young leaders or anyone who teaches within an extra-curricular setting to attend a FREE teacher training on Saturday August 29 from 13:30 to 17:30 where they will be:
o Giving out a free copy of the new This Is Our Planet resource and lesson plans
o Looking at Teaching Theory and Pedagogy for madrasah style learning and teaching
o Understanding sustainability, energy and environment from an Islamic perspective – free resource pack and step by step training
o Incorporating key learning styles and learning preferences for young people within planning and teaching
o Self-evaluation of your teaching style
o 3 schools of learning and Blooms Taxonomy in achieving higher forms of learning
o Giving the opportunity to access up to £200 funding for a social action project with your extra-curricular group

The training is completely free, you just need to pay a small deposit which will be returned to you after attending. This is an opportunity to not only benefit your own teaching abilities and help young people get the most out of your session, but an important aspect of achieving/progressing on the Green Up award for your institute. This training is open to brothers and sisters.
