A new cohort of female leaders in Muslim communities have graduated from the MCB Women in Mosques Development Programme 2019 on 17 November a second two-day residential training session, this time in Birmingham.

The programme, which is designed to accelerate the developing of upcoming talented female leaders of all ages to become the mosque trustees, committee members, volunteers and project leaders of the future, started as a pilot in 2018 and has now completed it’s second year. Participants came from across the UK, including Manchester, Lancashire, Yorkshire, London, Birmingham, Cardiff, Sheffield, Belfast and more! The project is kindly supported by Islamic Relief.

If your mosque would like to recruit more women to your management board or volunteer teams, get in touch today!
