On 19th-20th October, the Muslim Council of Britain (MCB) had the pleasure of attending the Global Peace and Unity (GPU) Festival 2024. After a 10-year hiatus, the GPU brought together 50,000 people from across the country to celebrate unity and collaboration within the Muslim community.
Our team had an incredible time engaging with the wider public, answering questions, and sharing insights into the MCB’s ongoing efforts to support and empower Muslim communities across the UK. From promoting interfaith dialogue to addressing key issues like Islamophobia, we appreciated the opportunity to discuss our various campaigns and initiatives.
It was equally inspiring to see the contributions of other Muslim organisations and businesses, all working toward positive change in their own ways.
