After 15 months of mass murder and total devastation in Gaza, we breathe a sigh of relief at the announcement of a ceasefire. Let this be the first step toward a lasting and just peace.
The world must now confront the magnitude of Israel’s genocidal aggression, 46,600 of Gaza’s population killed, and countless others unaccounted for, including members of the Press, aid workers and medical staff.
This is not just a humanitarian catastrophe but a moral and legal outrage that demands accountability.
Humanitarian aid must flow into Gaza immediately to address urgent needs, starvation, malnutrition and the children left in absolute desperation.
The international community must ensure that Israel is held to account under International Law. We cannot allow the collective failure to stop these atrocities to be repeated. Justice must prevail.
