MCB Calls for Release of British Hostages in Gaza

The Muslim Council of Britain calls upon the kidnappers of the human rights worker Kate Burton and her parents in the Gaza to release them unharmed and without delay.”Mrs Burton, Kate’s mother, has been active in the inter-faith movement in the UK and Europe for many years. The family’s abduction and exposure to danger is absolutely unlawful, totally unjustified and counter-productive,” said Sir Iqbal Sacranie, Secretary-General of the MCB.

The MCB adds its voice to that of the Palestinian Authority and the many community organizations calling for an immediate and peaceful end to this horrendous affair.
