In honour of those who lost their lives to war and conflict, among them 2.5 million Muslims, the MCB joined a poignant service at City Hall.

The MCB Secretary-General along side other faith leaders shared a range of prayers, scriptures and reflections during the service.

SG, Zara Mohammed read the translation of the verses of Surah Ad Duha (By Daybreak) a comforting chapter in times of hardship with a prayer for peace. To pay respect to those who are gone but not forgotten.

The service was joined by H.E Alexander Williams, Jamaican High Commissioner and the notable recognition of the windrush generation. As well as Liz Padmore, Chair of the British Red Cross, among many civil leaders and servicemen and women.
