The Muslim Council of Britain re-affirmed our commitment to social advocacy through our ongoing work as a member of the London Anchors Network, represented by Assistant Secretary-General Mariam Hassam.
As a member of the steering committee, Mariam inputs regular meetings, on how to address long-standing social and economic inequalities and the growing climate emergency.
The month commenced with MCB’s active participation in the London Anchoring Institution Network’s annual conference at City Hall on February 8th. During this event, MCB, received a great honour and plaque, as a member of its steering committee, emphasizing the organization’s significant role in fostering collaborative community efforts in London.
