Bringing together faith communities and civic society leaders across Scotland, the First Minister of Scotland, Humza Yousaf, recognised the great efforts and role of faith communities to society, both in crisis such as the pandemic but also in bringing communities together.

The First Minister shared the poignant story of the early Muslims who travelled to Ethopia, seeking sanctuary which they were granted by the Christian King Najashi, the story highlights the role of how important that compassion and kindness was to the Muslims at the time and for Islam.

The event was attended by members of all faith communities, civic society, charities and religious leaders, a great occasion and memorable night.
