Secretary-General, Zara Mohamed, had the privilege of delivering a keynote speech at an event hosted by the Salam Sisters’ Association in Manchester, alongside several esteemed guests such as Councillor Yasmine Dar, the Lord Mayor of Manchester.

The event was based on ‘Regaining Self-Esteem and Self-Confidence’ focusing on well-being, resilience, and empowering women on their journey to leadership. In her speech, our Secretary-General touched on the importance of being confident as women to lead, the importance of overcoming challenge through reliance on faith and finally the importance in doing whatever good we can, wherever we find ourselves.

Our Secretary-General would like to sincerely thank the organisers of the event, expressing her pleasure in being a part of a day of empowerment, thought-provoking discussions, and enriching workshops.
