The Muslim Council of Britain extends its condolences to the family of Pir Alauddin Siddiqui who passed away in Birmingham on Friday, 3 February. His janaza (funeral prayer) at Birmingham’s Aston Park was among the largest ever held in the city, an indication of the connection he had established with his community, as a spiritual guide,  institution-builder and ready helper of Muslims in distress.
