Dr Shuja Shafi, Secretary General of the Muslim Council of Britain has written to Sikh leaders following the alleged racial attack on Sarandev Singh Bhambra, a young Sikh man who was left with ‘life-changing’ injuries after being attacked in North Wales.
Dr Shuja Shafi said: “We stand with the Sikh community in rejecting the religious and ethnic hatred that leads to such brutal and cowardly attacks. We must not allow these agents of hate to divide us and I hope we can stand together in unity.”
