The Muslim Council of Britain (MCB) extends its warmest congratulations to King Charles III upon the advent of his coronation ceremony. We commend his commitment to inclusivity and unity by inviting members of all faith communities, including Sikhs, Muslims, Jews, Christians, and others, to participate in the ceremony.

Zara Mohammed, Secretary-General of the Muslim Council of Britain, said:

“Ours is a multi-cultural, multi-faith Britain; it is a pleasure to see such a significant national event recognising and celebrating this diversity.

“We recognise King Charles III’s long-standing work in improving the understanding of Islam and Muslims and his numerous interventions aimed at promoting interfaith dialogue and understanding between different communities.

“The Muslim Council of Britain hopes that King Charles III’s coronation will serve as a moment of unity for all Britons and looks forward to a new era of cooperation under his reign.”
