On 9 July, 2014, the Muslim Council of Britain held its National Community Iftar at the Abrar House in Central London. Once again, the theme of the evening was Intra-Faith Unity, with speakers from various schools of thoughts and traditions of Islam invited to affirm their commitment to Intra-Faith Unity.
Speakers included Mehdi Hasan, Political Director of Huffington Post UK, Myriam Francois Cerrah, a writer and journalist, Maulana Shahid Raza, Dr Seyed Fazil Milani, Manwar Ali and Maulana Ali Raza Rizvi.
