Today, the Secretary General of the Muslim Council of Britain, congratulated Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on her 90th birthday.
‘I wish Her Majesty a very happy 90th birthday. In her long life, the Queen has witnessed and overseen dramatic, and I am sure positive, change in this country of ours. Today, despite all of our challenges, Her Majesty’s United Kingdom is a dynamic, multicultural and multi-faith country. We are in no doubt that Her Majesty’s guidance throughout her long reign has made the country the success story that it is today.’ said Dr Shuja Shafi, Secretary-General of the Muslim Council of Britain.
The Muslim Council of Britain takes this occasion to congratulate Her Majesty and wishes her many more years of good health and happiness. The MCB’s affiliates, and Muslims around the country will be joining the rest of the country and the Commonwealth to celebrate the Queen’s birthday in the coming weeks.
