The 2020 MCB Annual General Meeting (AGM) was originally scheduled for Sunday 28th June 2020. Due to the coronavirus pandemic and emergency legislation introduced making gatherings unlawful, to which no end date has yet been indicated by the UK Government, it has become challenging under the current circumstances to hold the event and a rescheduling has been recommended.

Following advice received from the appointed Election Commissioner Mr Khalid Sofi presented at the National Council meeting on 18 April 2020, it was decided that in these unprecedented circumstances that the AGM should be rescheduled.

This situation will be kept under continuous review, and in any case reviewed every three weeks in light of the latest public heath advice. MCB Members will be informed of the new plans to hold the AGM – including a new timetable for election proceedings – as soon as those details are available.
