Its back again! This time on Saturday 29th September – so save the date!
Over 70 mosques across the UK will be holding free lifesaving skills sessions for the general public on Saturday 29 September from 2pm.
The Basic Life Support event delivered by Muslim doctors & healthcare professionals across the UK will be teaching BLS in over 70 Mosques around the country!
This FREE event runs for approximately 2 hours, covering CPR, Recovery Position and Choking Management.
The Lifesavers project is organised by the British Islamic Medical Association (BIMA), an affiliate of the Muslim Council of Britain, who have teamed up with the British Heart Foundation (BHF) to deliver this community basic life support training programme for the 5th consecutive year.
The event is open to males and females, and all attendees will receive a certificate!
The majority of Mosques do not require any sign up – you just turn up for Dhuhr prayers, or at 2pm and start learning these valuable lifesaving skills!
If you have any queries, email lifesavers@britishima.org
Learn these lifesaving skills by popping in to one of the participating mosques here.
