Sun Apologises For Falsely Stating Muslims Think 75% of UK is Islamic

After the Sun published its article on the Casey Review, like other outlets, the Sun falsely claimed in an article headline: ‘British Muslims are so cut off from society they think 75% of UK is Islamic’. After this was challenged by Miqdaad Versi from the MCB, the Sun initially corrected its article to from ‘Muslims’ to ‘Asians’. However, this was not a satisfactory result as the damage was already caused and many will not notice the small correction. Miqdaad took this up with IPSO and an apology was published for their ‘error’.
