Structured Qur’an & skills curriculum
Rooted in the maqasid of Hifz al-Din (preservation of religion) and the principles of holistic Tarbiyah (nurturing and development), evaluations assess the implementation of a comprehensive, staged curriculum for Qur'anic studies and essential Islamic sciences. It requires documented learning pathways, rigorous safeguarding integration, verified teacher competence, and inclusive practices to ensure a safe, high-quality, and holistic educational experience. This structured approach guarantees that Ilm (sacred knowledge) is faithfully transmitted to future generations.
Assessment Questions
- Does the organization have a documented curriculum pack (scope, sequence, objectives) for all stages?
- Is there a Single Central Record (SCR) and are safeguarding SOPs integrated into daily class management?
- How is teacher competence verified (Ijāzah/accredited) and is there an annual CPD plan?
- Is there a standardised assessment rubric and a process for internal moderation?
- Does the organization comply with the Equality Act (SEND cycle) and UK GDPR (Privacy notices)?
- Do Trustees review a termly Education Dashboard covering attainment, safeguarding, and attendance?
