Networking opportunities for professionals/entrepreneurs

Assesses the facilitation of platforms that enable professionals and entrepreneurs to connect, fostering economic growth. This embodies taʿāwun (mutual assistance), strengthening the community's financial well-being and seeking barakah through ethical collaboration and shared stakeholder success. Trustees must ensure activities further the charity’s objects and provide demonstrable public benefit, with any private benefit being incidental.

Level 1: Initial/Ad-hoc

Nascent: Informal, ad-hoc networking occurs occasionally among professionals. There are no formal platforms, dedicated resources, or organizational strategy to facilitate connections.

Level 2: Developing

Developing: The organization facilitates basic, inconsistent networking events (e.g., occasional meetups). The purpose is defined, but impact is not measured and ethical guidelines are not formally established.

Level 3: Established

Established: At least 2 structured networking formats per year are delivered. A documented 'Ethical Code of Networking' is distributed at registration, and basic feedback is collected.

Level 4: Advanced

Managed & Measured: Quarterly events are held with 30/90-day outcomes tracking (collaborations, jobs). A quarterly dashboard is reviewed by leadership, and active inclusion strategies are in place.

Level 5: Optimizing

Optimizing & Leading: Publishes an annual 'Ethical Enterprise Impact Report'. Maintains a mentorship pipeline (Mu'akhah model) with screening. Periodic audits of sponsor/exhibitor compliance are conducted by the Hisbah lead.
