Assesses the organization's engagement in civic activities and advocacy with local government or relevant stakeholders. It evaluates the commitment to representing community interests through a Board-approved strategy that balances sincere counsel (nasiha) with wisdom (hikmah), ensuring strict adherence to non-partisan charity law (CC9), electoral regulations (PPERA), and data ethics (GDPR), while delivering measurable public benefit (maslahah).
Assessment Questions
- How does the Board approve and monitor the civic engagement strategy to ensure alignment with charitable purposes (CC9)?
- Describe the process for maintaining the stakeholder map and ensuring regular, strategic contact.
- What specific compliance checks (CC9, PPERA, GDPR) are performed before launching an advocacy campaign?
- How does the organization ensure its advocacy positions are developed through representative Shūrā and verified (tathabbut) evidence?
