Subject: Take Urgent Action To Keep UK Taxpayers Out of the US-Israel-Iran War & Uphold International Humanitarian Law

Dear [Your MP's Name],

Following the news over the weekend that the US and Israel has declared military operations on Iran, as a constituency member, I'm writing to express my profound concern and disgust at our Government's decision to involve the United Kingdom in what many legal experts have described as an unlawful and unprovoked military action initiated by the United States and Israel against the Islamic Republic of Iran, particularly during the Holy Month of Ramadan.

British Muslims unequivocally condemn the violations of international law and the unjust killing of civilians from this catastrophic political conflict, including the 165 school girls and staff who tragically were killed in Minab.

On Saturday 28th February just after 2.30 pm, the Prime Minister said just after that "British planes are in the sky today (in the Middle East) as part of co-ordinated regional defensive operations."

I urge you to raise these concerns in Parliament and call for:

  • An immediate cessation of UK military involvement in operations against Iran
  • Full transparency on UK taxpayer costs and military commitments
  • A parliamentary vote before any further military action
  • Upholding international humanitarian law in all UK foreign policy decisions

With the upcoming local elections, it is crucial that voices of constituents are heard on these important topics.

Yours sincerely,
